Diane Lynn Foster, born February 18, 1950 passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 76.
She was a Christian whose beliefs were an important part of her life. She was the mother of three daughters, and grandmother of five grandchildren, each of whom she loved in her own unique way.
She was preceded in death by her cherished brother, William (“Billy”) Gabriel; her loving parents Sophie and William (“Bill”) Gabriel; and her beloved daughter, Heather Foster.
She is survived by her daughters Christina Price and Michelle Cooper; and five grandchildren Angelina, Chloe, Arthur, David, and Abraham.
She was always young at heart and was an independent woman who found joy in some of life’s simple pleasures like watching movies, listening to music, shopping, and spending time at the beach. She enjoyed going out to eat and treating herself. She also had a sharp mind for investing.
She was generous in her own way, supporting charitable religious causes and organizations that cared for animals. She had a special love for cats, which brought her comfort and companionship over the years.
In her later years, she became more private and lived a quieter life. Like many families, relationships could be complex, but her love for her family remained an important part of who she was.
We will always have the happy times together to remember her by whether it was using trash can lids to go sledding, going to the condo at the beach, or simply spending time together and laughing.
She will be remembered by her daughters, her grandchildren, and those who knew her.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 in the Santa Maria Cemetery, South Lawn.
