Homer Fox was born on Sept. 1, 1940 in Grove, OK. He moved to Nipomo in
1953 and has resided there for 73 years. He spent 13 years working for FEC at Vandenberg AFB after which he became a licensed building contractor and business owner.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Nipomo for almost 59 years. He was instrumental in the building of Fox Hall, named for him. He also supervised the building of the new sanctuary dedicated in 2009.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Dorlace Fox; his children, Derek and his wife Frances; Lisa Clark and her husband Dave; Theron and his wife Shelly. He is also survived by grandchildren Calista, Jacob, Eric, Dakota and Phoenix.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Nipomo Presbyterian Church,
1235 North Thompson Avenue in Nipomo.
