Lillian May Weathers born 01/04/1926 went home to be with the Lord on 01/24/2026 at the age of 100 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Tressie Hedrick, her husband Lawson Weathers, her grandson James Weathers and her son in law Rick Hogan.
May as she has always been known was one of 10 children and leaves behind 2 sisters, Evelyn and Rosilie. She also leaves behind 2 children Art and Cindy Weathers and Terry Hogan, 12 grandchildren Melina and Dennis, Mike, Tony and Tonya, Shannon and Tim, Tressie and Dan, Kelly and Bob, Crystal and Mark, Jessica and Ralph, Calvin and Brianne and Robert and Adrianne. She had 32 great grandkids and 21 great great grandkids. Also a multitude of nieces and nephews.
May worked for years at the Tan Top Bakery and to many is still the cookie lady. She was a member of Pacific Christian Church for years until her health made it hard to travel. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2026 with the viewing at 10 am and the services to start at 11 am, then interment in the Santa Maria Cemetery, original section. Reception to follow at the home of the family.
