Leopoldina Rodrigues Teixeira was born on November 03, 1938 in São Caetano, Pico, Azores, passed away on February 7, 2026 in Santa Maria, California. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion to her family, her faith, hard work, and quiet strength.
She is survived by two daughters Odette Pinheiro and Alda Miu (Steve), three grandchildren Joseph Pinheiro (Madi), Stephanie Miu and Emily Miu and three siblings Celestina Rodrigues, Estela Rodrigues, and Manuel Leonardo Homen (Leonore). Her life was defined by love, resilience, and the deep pride she carried for her family.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026; followed by a Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will follow in the original section of the Santa Maria Cemetery.
